Grand RapidsBiohazard Cleanup

Guide

How the referral works

This site is a phone line and a set of guides. It does not clean anything. Here is exactly what happens when you call.

When you call

Your call goes through a call-routing service to an independent biohazard cleanup company that covers your ZIP code. Calls are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The company you reach is not owned by this site.

Who pays this site

The cleanup companies pay a referral fee when a call leads to an appointment. That is how the site is paid for. You do not pay anything to this site, and the referral does not add a separate charge to your bill from us. The referral disclosure has the details.

What to ask

  • How will you price this, and will I get it in writing before you start?
  • What will you remove, and what will you clean?
  • How do you dispose of biohazard waste?
  • Can you provide the documents my insurer or the state compensation program will need?
  • Are you licensed and insured for this work? Can I see proof?

What is up to you

Whether to hire them, when, and on what terms. You are under no obligation. If you would rather compare companies, you are welcome to.

Whenever you are ready

One call to find out what the cleanup involves

Nothing has to be decided tonight. Keep the room closed, keep children and pets out, and call when you want to hear the options from someone who does this work.

Speak with a cleanup company

Your call goes to an independent company that works in your ZIP code. Describe what happened, ask how they would handle it and how they set the price, then decide in your own time.
